Nevada Nonprofits is a statewide, member-based association network working to strengthen and unify Nevada’s nonprofit sector. Through coordinated advocacy, training, and collaboration, the Association helps nonprofits engage in public policy, build stronger organizations, and amplify their collective impact.
Nevada is one of the few states without a statewide nonprofit association, leaving organizations without coordinated advocacy, sector-wide support, or a unified voice. As a result, nonprofits often face challenges navigating and influencing public policy, even though these decisions shape nearly every aspect of their work, from funding and program design to daily operations.
At the same time, many nonprofits lack the capacity or clarity to engage in advocacy, and misconceptions about what advocacy entails continue to hold organizations back.
Nevada Nonprofits aims to fill this gap by bringing the sector together, strengthening its collective voice, and advancing policies that better support nonprofits and the communities they serve.
